My visit to Penticton in British Columbia inspired me to do this video. I was a spectator in the Subaru Ironman Canada competition. What's that? It is a triathlon that consists of a 2.4 mile (3.9 km) lake swim, 112 mile (180.2 km) bike ride and 26.2 mile (42.2 km) marathon run - all to be completed within 17 hours to constitute an official finish. More than 3,000 competitors from 37 different countries are registered to compete. According to a survey of past Ironman Canada competitors, the average contestant spends eight months (16 - 23 hours per week) training for the event. What can businesses learn from the Ironman Competition? Take a look at this inspirational interview!
