Again, great message! I want to give you my observation about Ontario Manufacturing in particular. It seems as though 80% of the people I meet are only concerned about Job Preservation and it is this negative inaction or status quo type incentive that leads them to not try much of anything new. That is what kills innovation and as a Professional selling new technology with huge innovative potential that can be a game changer, I feel its weight directly on my shoulders or in the way of my path. So as you asked how many people do you know in category 1 or 2?! Great question!! If you have any contacts in category 2, please let me know as I could always use alot more!!
ReplyDeleteMichael, That's what I see as my purpose in life........ The manufacturing world has to change.
ReplyDeleteIn my mind it's simple but not easy! I want to inspire people to go above and beyond, make them see what they can't see, shake them, give a different perspective, and do whatever it takes to get them into motion..... :-)
My goal is to write a book this year.... "How can we make manufacturing sexy?"
Any ideas welcome! :-)
Have a great weekend,
Karin
