Nigel Southway has spent a great deal of his business career either in the manufacturing industry as a technical operating manager or as a practitioner of productivity and continuous improvement. He has been an "architect" of change for many major manufacturing companies. He is the author of a text book on productivity improvement.
Nigel also serves as Chair of the Society of Manufacturing Engineers (SME) in Toronto.
The "Take Back Manufacturing" initiative was started by SME but is now supported by many other management associations, technical societies and trade organizations in Ontario.
TBM is about getting a coordinated plan of action together to reverse the decline of the manufacturing sectors in Ontario.
His passion to create positive change is contagious and I truly enjoyed listening to his perspective. I am sure you will feel the same way. Take a look!
